Scott Pasfield’s photography bridges portraiture, architecture, and place-based storytelling. Trained as an architect, he brings a refined eye for design, light, and human presence to projects ranging from editorial portraits and branded campaigns to architectural and hospitality work.
After years in New York photographing for television, editorial, and brand campaigns — including Dinner for Five on IFC and Stella on Comedy Central — Scott created Gay in America, an award-winning book celebrating out, proud gay men living authentically across the country. The project is now held in more than 200 library collections nationwide, including the Library of Congress.
He later co-created and ran a boutique Vermont inn and restaurant that won Hotel Showdown on Travel Channel, earning national recognition. The INN continues to operate today, still reflecting his original design and vision.
Now focused on imagery that connects the natural world with design, his recent bodies of work — including Bisbee Style, Desert Luxury, and the Concretion series — move fluidly between art and commerce, people and places.
